Too much or tootally great?

Yeah, I really don't know where I was going with this, but here is where I ended up.

Record Crate

This sides of the crate are actually separate pieces held together by "biscuits" and glue. The small blocks were necessary so that when gluing the pieces together they did not slide on each other. Decorated with pencil, gesso, shellac, and cadmium red oil-paint.

side table

The top is 1 1/4" plywood (second shelf is 7/8"). Legs are poplar. The 'sides' (rails) are walnut. Bottom is 1/2" OSB.

maybe....

Low table

I really can't decide how to make this look good on paper in a portfolio. I feel like this looks a bit bare and needs something else (besides whatever text I put in about materials etc.)
